ANCHORAGE

Wow, I'm in Anchorage!!
Ahh I don't even know where to begin!
So we had transfer meeting on Tuesday, which was a blast. I love missionaries!!! It was super duper sad though, because I had to say goodbye to a bunch of missionaries that went home. #depressing
I got my new companion though, Sister Galli!!! Oh she's a hoot! We get along like a dream. And it's awesome because we know all the same people, so we have a lot to talk about. And she has a wealth of knowledge about everything, so I've learned sooooo much in just one week, I love it!

So after Transfer meeting, we were running around like Chicken's with our heads cut off, trying to get everyone's luggage where it needed to be, and make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. Then we headed to Sisters Training Meeting. It was nuts being there, and being in charge! The Anchorage STL's were always the big important super cool sisters that I looked up to so much, and I definitely don't feel like I can be there now!! But the meeting was really good, and super powerful. At the end, we all parted ways :( That part is always sad. Poor Sister McGee was so sad, and nervous! I was sad to be leaving her too. But so goes missionary life!

Ah so life has been a little crazy. There actually isn't too much missionary work here in the Oceanview ward, but we stay busy. We are determined to pick up the work here though! So this transfer will be the craziest thing of my life. We have to go on exchanges with 17 sisters, attend and give trainings at 5 of the 7 zone conferences, go to MLC, and all the trainer/trainee meetings. Whew!

But here is the biggest news ever.....
I GET TO GO BACK TO JUNEAU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Lord answers prayers!! We get to go there on exchanges with the sisters, and I don't think I've ever been so excited for something in my whole life!!!! My home land!! I am so beyond excited. So we'll go week 6 of the transfer, in mid August :)

I've slowly been meeting the ward, and they seem pretty great! It's always a wee bit awkward being in a new ward, and getting to know everyone. But hopefully I'll be comfortable soon.

So let me fill you in on what's been going on in the good ole' AAM (Alaska Anchorage Mission). Brother Hemmingway came to our mission a couple weeks ago, and trained all the leadership. He is the head of proselyting for the church, and knows his stuff. So he gave us some super good tips and ideas, and basically changed the way we think about things. It's like this huge switch has been made throughout the mission, and we're all looking at things differently. And it's been great! He just has so much faith, I think we were all able to feed off his faith a little. But it's been amazing to see all the cool things that are happening as missionaries apply what we were taught.

We have our first zone conference on Wednesday, let the fun begin! I love you all, and pray for you daily. Continue on in the things we know, and continue to let the Lord enlighten and teach you. He loves you so much!! Have a wonderful week, and know that you can expect miracles :)

All my love,
Sister Dall :)
